If disrespect is a problem at home, where might it be coming from? Are the parents disrespectful to each other? Is there disrespect in the way family members ask for things? Are we respectful to people who can do nothing for us?

If your kids are disrespectful to you, teach them that this is not okay. Respect starts with us, the parents; respect yourselves first by not allowing your kids to disrespect you.
